Annual Conference "Risks. Harms. Rewards"

On November 17th and 18th, 2015 the “Risks. Harms. Rewards” conference is taking place in Washington D.C. It focuses on the advantages, opportunities and challenges of our digital lives.

There are a number of panels this year on web ethics, cyberbullying, privacy, international web trends and what digitization means for the family. There are additional topics on wearables, cybergrooming and children’s digital rights.
The speakers come from various NGOs, tech companies, academic institutions and nonprofit initiatives, like UNICEF, Yahoo Tech, University of Edinburgh, Cable in the Classroom, NetSafe, and Intel to name a few.
