Competition „Media, sure! But secure“ now open

You have conducted a project with children aged 9 – 12 that deals with safe online behaviour or learning with digital media? If so, then submit your project now to the Europe-wide competition “Media, sure! But secure.” by Teachtoday.

The contest has two categories: “Learning with digital media” and “Safe media use”. Projects for children ages 9 to 12 may be submitted to the competition for either of the two categories. Present your project in our competition form. We want to know about specific topics, learning goals, successes and experiences, as well as how well the project transfers to other groups and grades. Then submit the form via email with descriptive pictures, videos. You can apply in German or English.

All of the participants will receive a package of materials on how to integrate media into lessons and the daily learning routine. The winning projects will be selected by an expert jury and will be awarded with class or group funds. In addition, the projects will be featured as best practice examples at a German “Summit for Kids” in fall 2015. The winning projects will also be presented in detail on the Teachtoday website.
